This is a friend of mine out side the house we used to share.
I like the fact there's not much going on in this shot. Just the single figure surrounded by brick.

No matter how simple this shot is, it's one of the best I've seen. The mood is great, the background is wonderful, and you placed him very well. This could very well be an example to everyone about the "Rule of Thirds" (which I don't necessarily like to say for many reasons, but it's true) Simply Awemazing.

It's interesting to compare this to your shot 'dancing'. This has a very tight, insular feel despite its wide framing and use of empty space...where as 'dancing' is tightly cropped and restricted but conveys a wonderful sense of freedom and movement...clever stuff...you have a fantastic eye for composition!
